Crossbridge Team Members Elected to Lead ACMO and CCI-T

All of us at Crossbridge are very pleased to share the news that two members of our senior management team have been elected to lead the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and the Canadian Condominium Institute – Toronto Chapter (CCI-T).

Regional Manager Katherine Gow was elected president of ACMO on April 30, 2021.  Since 1977 ACMO has worked diligently to advance the quality and performance of condominium managers and management companies and the services they provide.  ACMO has supported an engaged learning community that offers expertise, education, resources, networking, and support. Katherine has embodied that commitment to making condominium management the best it can be. First elected to the board in 2015, Katherine has dedicated years of service to the professional condominium management industry through ACMO having previously chaired both their communications and government relations committees.  Katherine was reelected in 2021 and is the organization's current President.

Our VP - Client Services, Murray Johnson was elected president of CCI-T on October 27, 2020.  The Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) was formed in 1982 with chapters across Canada, including a very active Toronto Chapter (CCI-T).  CCI is the largest national condo association dealing exclusively with issues affecting all stakeholders in the condominium sector.  Murray has been on the CCI-T board since 2011. He has received several awards including CCI’s “Distinguished Service Award” and ACMO’s “Special Recognition Award.”  He is a frequent organizer of, and speaker at, conferences, seminars, and webinars. At Crossbridge, Murray provides in-house Tarion training and oversees the performance audit process of Crossbridge-managed properties.  He readily shares his experience by teaching many of our internal workshops and he leads our regular managers’ meetings.

The outcome of the ACMO and CCI-T elections means that, for the first time, both major condominium bodies in Ontario are led by Crossbridge team members. We are very proud of the skill, initiative, and vision that both Murray and Katherine offer Crossbridge and the condo management/governance industry.

Congratulations Murray and Katherine.
